Investigating the Ligand‐Binding Properties of N‐arylbenzimidazoles as Novel Elastase Inhibitors

A series of novel N‐[(3,5‐dimethylphenyl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole derivatives is designed, synthesized, and evaluated for inhibitory activity against elastase.
