2-Trifluoromethyl-1H-benzimidazole [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2012
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(8)H(5)F(3)N(2), consists of two half-mol-ecules, one lies on a mirror plane and the other is generated by twofold rotation symmetry, with the axis running through the trifluoro-methyl C atom and the attached benzimidazole C atom.

A Conformationally Driven Mechanism in n‐Type Doping of Naphthalene Diimide‐Bithiophene Copolymer by 1H‐Benzimidazoles

open access: yesAdvanced Science
N‐doped polymer semiconductors are of great interest in the field of organic thermoelectrics, as high‐conductive materials are still highly desired. In this framework, this paper aims to clarify whether the n‐doping of naphthalene diimide‐bithiophene ...

Unlocking the genetic control of early seedling resistance to wheat powdery mildew through microphenomics

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 2, Page 1668-1679, February 2026.
Microphenomics is a new technique for detecting the very early resistance of powdery mildew in wheat seedlings, after 24, 48, and 72 h from infection. A number of 29, 42, and 34 genes models were identified to harbor significant SNP markers associated with the early resistance to WPM.

Polarized Heterojunction in a Doubly Doped Layer‐by‐Layer Structure to Obtain an Organic Photovoltaic Device of 20.5% Efficiency

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 3, 16 January 2026.
A solvent‐mediated infiltration doping strategy was proposed, enabling efficient double doping in organic photovoltaics. By spatially separating F4TCNQ and DMBI dopants within a D18/L8‐BO layer‐by‐layer architecture, dopant crosstalk and trap formation are minimized by controlling the penetration depth.

Emerging methods for subtype differentiation in primary aldosteronism

open access: yesJournal of Internal Medicine, Volume 299, Issue 2, Page 178-195, February 2026.
Abstract Primary aldosteronism (PA) is a common cause of hypertension. Compared to patients with essential hypertension, untreated PA is associated with a two‐ to fourfold greater risk of cardiovascular disease, renal failure, and death. PA is caused by increased secretion of aldosterone from one adrenal gland in 30% of the patients and both adrenal ...

Body condition score and weight are effective targeted selective treatment indicators for gastrointestinal nematodes in premating ewes

open access: yesVeterinary Record, Volume 198, Issue 3, Page e85-e91, 31 January/7 February 2026.
Abstract Background Ewe reproductive performance is key for flock profitability but can be impacted upon by gastrointestinal nematode (GIN) infections. Farmers commonly deworm ewes pre‐mating, yet concerns regarding anthelmintic resistance increase pressure to reduce wormer use.

Core/shell structured ZnO@SiO2-TTIP composite nanoparticles as an effective catalyst for the synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazoles and benzothiazoles

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Nanoscience, 2018
ZnO@SiO2-TTIP was synthesised as a novel heterogeneous catalyst and characterised by FT-IR, XRD, TEM, SEM and N2 adsorption-desorption. In this catalytic system, TTIP acts as a dopant agent for ZnO@SiO2 to decreases the recombination of photogenerated ...
