Rapid Assembly of Unsymmetrically Linked Bis-heterocycles via Palladium Domino Catalysis

A palladium-catalyzed domino reaction of alkene-tethered oxime esters is reported. This transformation uses an air-stable palladium precatalyst that initiates a Narasaka-Heck reaction, that is interrupted with a Pd(II)-promoted cyclization. Novel ionic liquid supported-multicomponent reaction toward chimeric bis-heterocycles

A novel multicomponent reaction between IL-anchored 2-aminobenzoimidazoles, aldehydes, and electron-deficient dienophiles has been explored. The strategy was utilized to develop a rapid parallel synthesis for novel bis-heterocyclic skeleton of benzimidazole-linked dihydropyrimidine on an ionic liquid support.

Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of bis-heterocyclic sulfamoyl acetamides

A new class of bis-heterocyclic sulfamoyl acetamides was prepared and studied their antimicrobial activity. The chloro substituted thiazolyl imidazolylsulfamoyl acetamide 6i is found to be a potential antimicrobial agent against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Penicillium chrysogenum.
