Low‐Dimensional Materials and Van Der Waals Heterostructures for Energy Application: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Low‐dimensional materials (0D, 1D, and 2D) exhibit unique electronic and physicochemical properties, enabling advanced nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices. Mixed‐dimensional heterostructures combine these materials to enhance functionality.

Electrochemical Valence‐Regulated Biomimetic Nanozymes for Breast Cancer Metabolism Inhibition and Potentiated Catalytic Immunotherapy

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
MnOx nanozymes face low tumoricidal activity and PD‐L1‐mediated immune attenuation. Electrochemically regulated M‐MnOx with high oxidase activity was TCM‐wrapped into TMO. TMO targets tumors, triggers ICD, activates cGAS‐STING, antagonizes PD‐L1, and suppresses tumor recurrence, providing new insights for Mn‐based nanomaterials.

A Nitric Oxide–Based STING Agonist Nanoadjuvant With ICD‐Derived Membrane Antigens Unleashes Robust Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of the synergistic antitumor mechanism of Im@NOnanoPL combined with αPD‐1 therapy. The Im@NOnanoPL nanovaccine targets lymph nodes via ICD‐derived tumor cell membranes, delivering personalized tumor antigens. It releases NO gas to enhance MHC‐I expression and activate the STING pathway, thereby potentiating anti‐tumor immunity in

Engineered molecular diagnostic strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma: Integrating flexible photonic barcodes, liquid biopsies, and AI‐enhanced sensing platforms

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Abstract Early diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains challenging because conventional serum biomarkers, especially alpha‐fetoprotein (AFP), show limited sensitivity for early‐stage disease. Recent progress in engineered molecular diagnostics provides new opportunities to improve HCC detection through integrated material, molecular, and ...

Viability of Tumor Cells in Bone Dust: Implications for Oncologic Skull Base Surgery

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Head and neck tumors with skull base involvement may require drilling of tumor infiltrated bone. We hypothesize that bone dust generated during this process contains viable tumor cells that may seed the surgical field. Methods Tumors with gross bone invasion were drilled, and dust was collected for H&E, cell viability analysis, and ...

S100A8/A9 Drives Emergency Granulopoiesis to Promote Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesiNew Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer characterized by high metastatic potential and limited therapeutic options. Although neutrophils contribute to tumor progression, how tumors systemically regulate neutrophil production remains poorly understood.

Shikonin Promotes Apoptosis in Multiple Myeloma Cells Through the PKM2‐AMPK‐PGC1α Metabolic Axis

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
High PKM2 expression in MM is associated with a poor prognosis. Shikonin represents a promising PKM2‐targeted agent for MM therapy, offering a unique metabolic intervention strategy to improve drug resistance, bone disease, and the immune microenvironment. ABSTRACT Background Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable plasma malignancy.
