Safety and efficacy of bronchial thermoplasty in Australia 5 years post‐procedure
Respirology, Volume 28, Issue 11, Page 1053-1059, November 2023., 2023 In an Australian cohort of very severe asthmatics treated with bronchial thermoplasty, maintenance of effect was seen at 5 years with sustained reductions in ACQ score and exacerbation frequency. When compared with baseline CT imaging, some cases demonstrated bronchial dilatation, without clinical features of bronchiectasis.
