Abstract figure legend Suboptimal maternal nutrition alters placental and developing blood–brain barrier (BBB) protective function and is associated with increased fetal brain vulnerability. In the placenta, nutritional adversity may reduce the exchange surface area and promote meta‐inflammation, compromising barrier efficiency in a model‐ and context ...

ABSTRACT Consumption of whole wheat flour promotes lead excretion, yet the functional components reducing lead bioavailability and their protective mechanisms remain unclear. To identify these components and to validate whether their mechanism is related to protection of the intestinal barrier, this study established an in vitro model combining ...

Hawthorn polyphenol nanoparticles (HPN) were prepared using an antisolvent method and layer‐by‐layer self‐assembly. HPN alleviates exercise‐induced fatigue in a weight‐bearing swimming model. Its mechanism of action is associated with reduced levels of BUN, MDA, and cortisol, and enhancing the activity of SOD, CAT, and modulating the abundance and ...

The in‐silico data showed that fisetin binds stably with the autophagy receptors and synaptic density regulators. Further, in‐vitro data confirmed the restoration of Aβ1‐42 disrupted autophagy by fisetin. Fisetin restored the oxidative stress and ion channels, along with a reduction of AChE activity.
