Ribosome Homeostasis Regulated by SETD2 Preserves Intestinal Epithelial Barrier
SETD2 ablation causes dysregulation and recruitment defects of ribosome biogenesis factors, resulting in translational disorders of barrier maintenance genes, thereby compromising the intestinal barrier. These findings unveil a previously unappreciated role of ribosome biogenesis and translational regulation in preserving the intestinal epithelial ...

N-Cadherin-Mediated Epithelial–Mesenchymal Transition as a Prognostic Indicator in Canine Melanoma
Canine melanoma is a relatively common and clinically significant neoplasm in veterinary oncology, with important prognostic implications. Epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT), associated with changes in cell adhesion and increased metastatic ...

Single‐Cell Metabolic Imaging Reveals Glycogen‐Driven Adaptations in Endothelial Cells
Single‐cell metabolic imaging of diabetes‐associated endothelial dysfunction by SRS microscopy reveals dynamic glycogen storage and its role in modulating metabolic adaptations under glucose starvation. Abstract Endothelial dysfunction (ED) is a defining feature of diabetes mellitus (DM) and a key contributor to many metabolic and cardiovascular ...

EGF‐induced de novo transcription of connexins Cx26 and Cx31 promotes flocking behavior that fluidizes epithelia and enables coordinated collective migration. Connexin‐driven cytoplasmic exchange mechanistically links growth‐factor signaling to invasive dynamics.

This study developed a 3D endometrial assembloid model to study how uterine glands form and develop. They discovered key interactions between different cell types and identified WNT7B as a regulator controlled by estradiol‐mediated TGFβ1‐VDR interaction.

Decoding Human Placental Cellular and Molecular Responses to Obesity and Fetal Growth
Women with obesity often deliver large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of term placenta reveals that hypoxia and TNF‐α signaling in syncytiotrophoblasts are featured in maternal obesity, but inflammatory signatures in Hofbauer cells and response to lipid or carbohydrate metabolism in fibroblasts are specific to LGA.

Tooth decay progression transforms the dental pulp response from repair to fibrosis. At early stages, stromal cells reprogram to repair the extra cellular matrix (ECM), blood vessels, and nerves, remodel and grow, keeping repair possible. In advanced decay, hypoxia, and vessel regression, in complement with an immune switch, fuel nerve degeneration and
