This study developed a pair of duplex RPA‐LFA assays for the simultaneous detection of critical resistance genes, blaCTX‐M/mcr‐1 and blaoxa‐48‐like/blaNDM, from hemoculture samples. Under optimized conditions, duplex RPA was performed at 37°C–38°C for 25 min, followed by LFA for 10–15 min.

Emerging superbugs: The threat of Carbapenem Resistant Enterobacteriaceae
Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) are gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to carbapenems, a group of antibiotics considered as the last-resource for the treatment of infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria. CRE constitutes a major threat to health care systems because infections caused by these pathogens are difficult to ...

Glyco‐Nanogels for Modulating Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilm
Nanogels presenting α‐galactose and β‐fucose can significantly alter Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm dynamics through their interaction with lectins. Application timing is crucial: pre‐treatment reduces biofilm, while treatment after biofilm initiation increases biomass.
