Presumptive necrotising fasciitis with concurrent pyothorax in a 9‐month‐old Great Dane
Veterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 4, November 2026.Abstract A 9‐month‐old, entire, male Great Dane presented with rapid multi‐limb swelling, pyrexia and diarrhea following initial treatment for presumed gastroenteritis. Diagnostic evaluation revealed septic pleuropneumonia concurrent with rapidly progressive soft tissue infection affecting three limbs.

Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.
