Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1986Abstract Fresh market carrots were interplanted in a celery field with a history of severe carrot weevil problems in Cass County, Michigan, on 17 Jun. Soil type was muck. After carrot emergence, the celery was cut to maximize the likelihood of movement of the pest into the carrots.

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1986Abstract ‘Long Imperator 58’ carrots were direct-seeded into 2 row beds on 40-inch centers on 1 Apr at the Tex. Agric. Exp. Sta. Annex, Mercedes Tex. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with 5 blocks and 8 treatments. Plots were 4 beds wide by 20 ft long.

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1982Abstract Carrots were planted May 9. Plots were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. Plots were 6 rows wide (ca 9 ft) by 30 ft long and were arranged linearly along the border of the field. Treatments (except for Temik) were applied with a tractor mounted boom sprayer at 30 gpa.
