Cathelicidin Antimicrobial Peptides Modulate Angiogenesis
2007Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are effector molecules of the innate immune system. In addition their direct antimicrobial activity AMPs modulate angiogenesis. This chapter reviews the current knowledge about the link between AMPs and angiogenesis.
