Enhanced Expression of Eotaxin and CCR3 in Atopic Dermatitis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Investigative Dermatology, 1999
Chemokines are thought to play an important part in the development of inflammation in atopic dermatitis. Eotaxin, a CC chemokine, is a potent chemoattractant and activator of human eosinophils, basophils and Th2 lymphocytes which acts via the chemokine receptor CCR3.

Upregulated expression of CCR3 in osteoarthritis and CCR3 mediated activation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes

Cytokine, 2016
Upregulated expression of CC chemokine receptor (CCR)3 was observed in osteoarthritis (OA) cartilage and chondrocytes, but expression of CCR3 on synovial tissue of OA remains unknown. Fibroblast-like synoviocyte (FLS) invasion in synovium appears one of the features of OA, but expression and function of CCR3 on FLS remain uninvestigated.
