Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia With PML‐RARA Rearrangement: Clinical and Morphologic Features
ABSTRACT Recognition of the characteristic morphologic features of acute promyelocytic leukemia on peripheral blood smear should prompt immediate initiation of all‐trans retinoic acid while awaiting confirmatory testing, as early intervention is critical to reducing hemorrhagic mortality and improving clinical outcomes.

Lineage switch in childhood leukemia
Abstract Lineage switch (LS) is a rare but aggressive immunophenotypic transformation of acute leukemia associated with limited therapeutic options and poor clinical outcome. Although LS has been increasingly recognized in the era of CD19‐directed immunotherapies, its biological basis remains incompletely understood.

Aminopeptidase‐N/CD13 is a potential proapoptotic target in human myeloid tumor cells
International audienceThe transmembrane metalloprotease aminopeptidase-N (APN)/CD13 is overexpressed in various solid and hematological malignancies in humans, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and is thought to influence tumor progression. Here, we

The DNA repair kinase ATM regulates CD13 expression and cell migration
Classically, ATM is known for its role in sensing double-strand DNA breaks, and subsequently signaling for their repair. Non-canonical roles of ATM include transcriptional silencing, ferroptosis, autophagy and angiogenesis.

Identification of a candidate stem cell in human gallbladder
There are currently no reports of identification of stem cells in human gallbladder. The differences between human gallbladder and intrahepatic bile duct (IHBD) cells have also not been explored.

NLRP3 Is Involved in the Maintenance of Cerebral Pericytes
Pericytes play a central role in regulating the structure and function of capillaries in the brain. However, molecular mechanisms that drive pericyte proliferation and differentiation are unclear. In our study, we immunostained NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-

Adipose‐Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Isolation, Origin, Phenotype Applications, and Challenges
Bridging basic biology to clinical translation, this review systematically explores the in vivo origins and evolving isolation techniques of AD‐MSCs. We dissect their diverse phenotype applications orchestrated by immunometabolic reprogramming, mitochondrial transfer, and extracellular vesicles.

Probable Stevens–Johnson syndrome developed during taletrectinib treatment after a preceding crizotinib‐related Grade 3 rash in a patient with ROS1‐rearranged lung adenocarcinoma. This case highlights that severe cutaneous adverse reactions should be considered when fever and neutropenia occur during ROS1‐TKI therapy.

Tumor-derived aminopeptidase N promotes early stages of brain metastatic colonization
Summary: Metastasis is a highly inefficient process, with the vast majority of disseminated cancer cells failing to form secondary tumors. To establish brain metastases, cancer cells must traverse the blood-brain barrier and rapidly adapt to the ...

A rare case of de novo CD5+ diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in leukemic phase and positive for CD13
We report a case of de novo diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in leukemic phase, positive for both CD5 and CD13. Morphologic evaluation, flow cytometric immunophenotyping, karyotyping and polymerase chain reaction studies were performed.
