Frequent expression of myeloid antigen (CD13) on immature T cells in culture.
Nihon Ketsueki Gakkai zasshi : journal of Japan Haematological Society, 1990Leukemic cells from 12 patients with lymphoblastic lymphoma (LBL) and T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) were studied to determine the inducibility of myeloid antigens in culture in the presence and absence of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) in association with discrete phenotypic and genotypic analyses on these cells.

Peptidase enzymes are known to be widely distributed in plasma and tissues. As such, they are considered to play important roles in the local regulation of biologically active peptides, including peptide hormones, growth factors, and cytokines. In the uterine endometrium, it has been suggested that some peptidase enzymes in the endometrial epithelium ...

The antigen defined by MCS-2 monoclonal antibody (mAb) was characterized by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of surface and internally labeled cells. Surface iodination revealed that MCS-2 antigen on the surfaces of acute myelogenous leukemia cells, HL-60 cells, and polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) had the same molecular ...

Expression of human c-kit proto-oncogene and interleukin-7 receptor (IL-7R) in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cells expressing CD7 was examined by Northern-blot analysis and reversed transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay in relation to the phenotypes.

CD13 is a pan-(MPO-positive) AML antigen, while it is expressed in some B-lineage neoplasms (ALL and PLL) and in T-linaege neoplasms at pro-thymic stage. Some reports have described the lack of this antigen in MPO-positive AML, and tried to regard such MPO-postive AML cases as an clinical entity.
