Nonclassical MHC‐I Molecules: Emerging Therapeutic Targets in Next‐Generation Immunotherapy
Immunotherapies dependent on classical MHC‐I molecules face significant challenges, including extreme polymorphism and frequent downregulation in pathological conditions. This review discusses how nonclassical MHC‐I molecules (HLA‐E, HLA‐F, HLA‐G, CD1, MR1) may potentially circumvent these limitations through restricted genetic diversity, stable ...

Dendritikus sejt altípusok együttműködése fiziológiás és kóros állapotban = The interplay of dendritic cell subtypes in health and disease [PDF]
A dendritikus sejtek (DC) az immunfolyamatok fontos irányítói, melyek alapvető szerepet játszanak a központi és perifériás tolerancia és a gyulladásos folyamatok kiváltásában, fenntartásában és szabályozásában.

Characterization and partial purification of Secretory IL-12 Inhibitory Factor [PDF]
Background We have previously shown that supernatant from Candida albicans (CA) culture contains a Secretory Interleukin (IL)-12 Inhibitory Factor (CA-SIIF), which inhibits IL-12 production by human monocytes.

We aimed to report the existence and profile of group 9 innate lymphoid cells (ILC9s). Overall, ILC9 proportions in AR patients show differences compared to healthy subjects and responder SCIT patients. IL‐9 expression decreases after siRNA inhibition of Bach2 suggesting Bach2 could display as a transcription factor of ILC9.

Dendritic-Cell (DC)-Based Immunotherapy: Tumor Endothelial Marker 8 (TEM8) Gene Expression of DC Vaccines Correlates with Clinical Outcome [PDF]
\ud Previous studies have shown that tumor-endothelial markers (TEMs) are upregulated in immunosuppressive, pro-angiogenic dendritic cells (DCs) found in tumor microenvironments. \ud We reported that pro-angiogenic monocyte-derived DCs (Mo-DCs), utilized

Differences in nasal cellular infiltrates between allergic children and age-matched controls [PDF]
Little is known about the cellular infiltrates in the nasal mucosa of children. This study was set up to compare the nasal cellular infiltrates in biopsy specimens from allergic children and controls.

The role of CD1a in dengue infection
Dengue is one the most prevalent tropical infectious diseases. It causes a heavy healthcare burden globally, while treatment and prevention approaches are limited. Like other virus-induced diseases, T cells are considered to play an important role in the immunity against dengue virus infection.
