Single-Cell Transcriptomic Profiling Identifies B Cell-Intrinsic Dysregulation of Sphingolipid Biosynthesis and Could Be Improved by Inhibiting UGCG in Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia. [PDF]
This study generates the single‐cell atlas of pathogenic B‐cell subset Bc‐5 in ITP. It identifies RUNX3 as a key survival regulator and uncovers sphingolipid‐driven metabolic reprogramming, validating UGCG inhibition as a therapeutic candidate and building a valuable resource for ITP mechanistic and therapeutic exploration.

Dietary CoQ10 Ameliorates Age-Related Megakaryocyte Dysfunction via COPS3-Mediated Activation of Autophagy. [PDF]
Dietary CoQ10 improves megakaryocyte maturation and polyploidization and reduces platelet hyperreactivity in naturally aged mice, while experiments in senescent Meg‐01 cells demonstrate enhanced autophagic flux and identify COPS3 as a contributing, but not, mediator.

CD41 expression defines the onset of primitive and definitive hematopoiesis in the murine embryo [PDF]
The platelet glycoprotein IIb (αIIb; CD41) constitutes the alpha subunit of a highly expressed platelet surface integrin protein. We demonstrate that CD41 serves as the earliest marker of primitive erythroid progenitor cells in the embryonic day 7 (E7.0) yolk sac and high-level expression identifies essentially all E8.25 yolk sac definitive ...

Background Cytopenia is the primary feature of Myelodysplastic Syndrome, even in the presence of hypercellular bone marrow. TNFα is recognized as both a proinflammatory, and proapoptotic cytokine with a well established role in promoting apoptosis in MDS.

Influenza A virus infection instructs hematopoiesis to megakaryocyte-lineage output
Summary: Respiratory tract infections are among the deadliest communicable diseases worldwide. Severe cases of viral lung infections are often associated with a cytokine storm and alternating platelet numbers.

The plant hormone abscisic acid stimulates megakaryocyte differentiation from human iPSCs in vitro
In the clinic, the supply of platelets is frequently insufficient to meet transfusion needs. To address this issue, many scientists have established the derivation of functional platelets from CD34+ cells or human pluripotent stem cells (PSCs).

After analysis of flowcytometry data on bovine and ovine cells and immunoprecipitation studies, a cluster of seven MAbs-CAPP2 (3W-232), IL-Al64 (M430), IL-Al66 (3W-226), IVA30 (3W-069), IVA31 (3W-468), IVA38 (3W-349) and IVA125 (3W528)-was shown to detect bovine and ovine CD41/Cd61 (also known as allS Mateo et al., 1996a). MAb Co-35E4, not submitted to

CD45 expression discriminates waves of embryonic megakaryocytes in the mouse
Embryonic megakaryopoiesis starts in the yolk sac on gestational day 7.5 as part of the primitive wave of hematopoiesis, and it continues in the fetal liver when this organ is colonized by hematopoietic progenitors between day 9.5 and 10.5, as the ...
