CD44 standard isoform is involved in maintenance of cancer stem cells of a hepatocellular carcinoma cell line [PDF]
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer death worldwide. Cancer stem cells (CSCs) have attracted attention as a novel therapeutic target for cancer because they play important roles in the development and aggravation of ...

A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,

A study on the increased CD44 expression in primary meningioma
CD44 ...

CD44 regulates astrocyte morphology.
A: Validation of CD44shRNA and CD44-GFP constructs. Astrocytes were transfected with pSuper, CD44shRNA or CD44-GFP constructs (together with β-actin-GFP plasmid) and then immunostained with anti-CD44 antibody (red).

ARHGEF3 is broadly downregulated across human cancers and correlates with patient prognosis. Tumor‐intrinsic ARHGEF3 activates the RHOA–ROCK–PTEN cascade to inhibit AKT signaling, thereby promoting chemokine‐driven T‐cell infiltration and relieving lipid‐mediated myeloid immunosuppression.

This research identifies DTX3L as a critical tumor suppressor that inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT), invasion and metastasis in gastric cancer. By functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, DTX3L targets the master EMT regulator SNAI1 for GSK‐3β‐dependent proteasomal degradation.

This review explores how hemoglobin‐based oxygen carriers (HBOCs) combined with nanozymes create multifunctional materials that deliver oxygen while maintaining redox homeostasis. Beyond artificial blood substitutes, these constructs enable wound healing with light‐triggered oxygen release, cancer therapy through enhanced oxygenation and reactive ...
