Immunocto: a massive immune cell database auto-generated for histopathology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
With the advent of novel cancer treatment options such as immunotherapy, studying the tumour immune micro-environment (TIME) is crucial to inform on prognosis and understand potential response to therapeutic agents. A key approach to characterising the TIME may be through combining (1) digitised microscopic high-resolution optical images of hematoxylin

The low temperature heat capacity of solutions of methane isotopes in fullerite C60. Isotope effects [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
The heat capacity C(T) of the interstitial solid solution (CH4)0.4C60 has been investigated in the temperature interval 1.4-120 K. The contribution of CH4 molecules to the heat capacity has been separated. The contributions of CH4 and CD4 molecules to the heat capacity of the solutions (CH4)0.40C60 and (CD4)0.40C60 have been compared.

Modeling CD4+ T cells dynamics in HIV-infected patients receiving repeated cycles of exogenous Interleukin 7 [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
Combination Antiretroviral Therapy (cART) succeeds to control viral replication in most HIV infected patients. This is normally followed by a reconstitution of the CD4$^+$ T cells pool; however, this does not happen for a substantial proportion of patients.
