Bifidobacteria and Celiac Disease: Mechanisms of Probiotic Action in Reducing Gluten‐Induced Cytotoxicity and Inflammation

Celiac disease (CD) is triggered by gluten in genetically predisposed individuals and is mainly treated with a gluten‐free diet. However, symptoms may persist.
