Cell proliferation in cancer

European Journal of Cancer (1965), 1968

Modification of cell proliferation with inhibitors

Current Biology, 1992
Recent developments on mechanisms that control cell multiplication, using molecular biology, are renewing interest in inhibitors and activators. A great deal of information has been gained in the past through the use of chemicals that modify passage through the cell cycle.

Transglutaminase in cell proliferation and transformation

Medical Oncology and Tumor Pharmacotherapy, 1988
Transglutaminase (TGase) activity was reduced in intact mitogen-stimulated human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) when compared to intact resting PBL. Moreover, a treatment of the same quiescent immunocompetent cells with purified liver TGase and Ca2+ completely suppressed the mitogen-induced blast transformation.

T Cell Proliferation

2015
HIV infections in response to modern drug therapies have been furnished through the cell population model representing long-term dynamics of the disease. We have also considered that T cells can be created by a proliferation of existing uninfected target CD4\(^{+}\) T cells in our human body.
