The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

AEOS: Star-by-star Cosmological Simulations of Early Chemical Enrichment and Galaxy Formation
The A eos project introduces a series of high-resolution cosmological simulations that model star-by-star chemical enrichment and galaxy formation in the early Universe, achieving 1 pc resolution.

Although particular attention has been paid to responses of hydrocarbon storage and percolation capacity to the devitrification concerning lacustrine tuffaceous shale reservoirs in recent years, there is still a lack of systematical and comparative ...

Stochastic chemical enrichment in metal-poor systems [PDF]
A stochastic model of the chemical enrichment of metal-poor systems by core-collapse (Type II) supernovae is presented, allowing for large-scale mixing of the enriched material by turbulent motions and cloud collisions in the interstellar medium. Infall of pristine material is taken into account by following the evolution of the gas density in the ...

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Stellar Abundances at the Center of Early-type Galaxies with Fine Structure
Our understanding of early-type galaxies (ETGs) has grown in the past decade with the advance of full-spectrum fitting techniques used to infer the properties of the stellar populations that make up the galaxy.

The Effects of radial inflow of gas and galactic fountains on the chemical evolution of M31
Galactic fountains and radial gas flows are very important ingredients in modeling the chemical evolution of galactic disks. Our aim here is to study the effects of galactic fountains and radial gas flows in the chemical evolution of the disk of M31.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

A Photoionization Model for the Infrared Coronal Line Emission in the Classical Nova V1716 Scorpii
A near-infrared spectrum of nova V1716 Scorpii (PNV J17224490-4137160), a recent bright ( ${V}_{\max }=7.3$ mag), Fermi-LAT detected γ -ray source, was modeled using the photoionization code CLOUDY.

Chemical Abundances of the Leo II Dwarf Galaxy
We use previously-published moderate-resolution spectra in combination with stellar atmosphere models to derive the first measured chemical abundance ratios in the Leo II dSph galaxy.
