CD147/Basigin: From Integrative Molecular Hub to Translational Therapeutic Target
This review conceptualizes CD147 as a fundamental “Energy‐Structure Coupler,” physically bridging metabolic flux (via MCTs) with morphogenetic plasticity (via integrins/MMPs) to drive cancer, infection, and autoimmunity. Addressing the “specificity paradox” that limits current translation, the authors chart a strategic roadmap—spanning logic‐gated ...

Pancreatic cancer- mechanisms of chemoresistance
Despite the enormous progress made over the past decades in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of many types of tumor, the survival rate for pancreatic cancer still remains poor. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most malignant and chemotherapy-resistant tumors. That is mainly due to the lack of effective diagnosis at an early stage of tumor development

The prognostic role of VEGF in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [PDF]
Emerging from potentially malignant disorders that in most cases will never become cancerous, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is a cancer that is extremely difficult to diagnose early.

This study uncovered a dual‐track mechanism by which ADAMTS9‐AS2 overcame chemoresistance in CRPC: suppressing cancer stemness through the FOXF2/TGF‐β2 pathway, and triggering ferroptosis via competitive SLC7A11 sequestration. Polymeric materials co‐targeting these vulnerabilities further boost docetaxel sensitivity, highlighting a compelling strategy ...

Antibody‐Empowered Nanomedicine for Precise Biomedical Applications
This review explores strategies for functionalizing nanoparticles with antibodies to construct antibody‐empowered nanomedicine. It discusses the classification of these nanomedicines based on antibody structure, with a specific focus on their biomedical applications in diagnostics, bioimaging, and therapeutics for various diseases.

This work introduces a study that identifies HMGCR as a novel target in TNBC and develops a light‐gated PROTAC nanomedicine. Upon irradiation, this agent selectively degrades HMGCR, reprogramming lipid metabolism to induce ferroptosis and potent antitumor immunity, thereby significantly enhancing photoimmunotherapy efficacy.

Cholesterol is revealed as a multitasking fuel for lung adenocarcinoma brain metastasis: it locks EGFR at the membrane to sustain AKT/NF‐κB–driven glycolysis and EMT, loosens the blood–brain barrier by promoting Claudin‐5 loss, and rewires microglia through IL‐4R lipid‐raft–JAK1/STAT6 signaling.
