Streptavidin chiral stationary phase for the separation of adenosine enantiomers
Journal of Chromatography A, 2004In this paper, a microbore column packed with streptavidin particles was used, at various temperatures (0-24 degrees C), to separate the adenosine enantiomers by HPLC. Using an aqueous mobile phase, the apparent enantioseparation was high for a small molecule, varying from 11.5 at 0 degrees C to 6.2 at 24 degrees C.

Enantioseparation behavior of chiral stationary phases AD, AS and OD
Chinese Journal of Chromatography, 2016Over the past decades, HPLC enantioseparation with chiral stationary phases (CSPs) has been widely applied in chiral analysis and preparation of new pharmaceuticals, pesticides, food, etc. Herein, enantioseparation of 20 chiral compounds have been carried out on three polysaccharide-based CSPs (EnantioPak AD, AS and OD) with normal phases by HPLC ...

Chirality
ABSTRACTInclusion complexation, hydrogen bonds, π–π interaction, dipole–dipole interaction, and steric hindrance effect all contribute to the enantioseparation ability of cyclodextrin (CD) or CD derivatives. In this work, one native cationic CD chiral stationary phases (SHCDCSP) and four derivatized CD‐CSPs, namely, per(4‐trifluoromethyl ...

Antibody-Mimicking Polymers as Chiral Stationary Phases in HPLC
Analytical Chemistry, 1996Antibody-mimicking synthetic polymers, selective for various optically active amino acid derivatives and peptides, were prepared by noncovalent molecular imprinting. A novel approach, in which the branched, trifunctional cross-linkers pentaerythritol triacrylate and 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)butanol trimethacrylate were copolymerized with methacrylic acid,

Chiral stationary phases for the liquid chromatographic separation of pharmaceuticals
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1988Biological systems exhibit remarkable enantioselectivity which is important in biosynthesis, metabolism, storage and transport processes. It is, therefore, not surprising that the chirality of, for example, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and agrochemicals, has become the focus of extensive research in many laboratories throughout the world.

Synthesis and Spectroscopic Evaluation of Chiral Selectors in Crial Stationary Phases
2005The enhanced demand for enantiomerically pure compounds (EPC) has led to the development of a variety of enantioselective separation methods. Like very useful one emerged liquid chromatography which use chiral stationary phases (CSPs). One of the most used CSPs named brush or Pirkle type CSPs consist of small optically active compounds covalently bound
