Caenorhabditis elegans as an in vivo model system for human inherited primary arrhythmia syndromes
Abstract figure legend Most genes involved in inherited primary arrhythmia syndromes (IPAS) are conserved in Caenorhabditis elegans, where genetic manipulation enables functional characterization of variants, identification of regulatory proteins, and in vivo drug testing.

ABSTRACT Gastroparesis is a chronic gastric motility disorder marked by delayed gastric emptying in the absence of mechanical obstruction. For patients with symptoms refractory to medical and dietary therapy, Gastric Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (G‐POEM) has emerged as a minimally invasive, pylorus‐targeted intervention that directly addresses pyloric ...

Supplementing the flushing diet with organic trace minerals based on advanced chelate technology enhanced the reproductive performance of ewes as compared with inorganic trace minerals. ABSTRACT Background The bioavailability of trace minerals (TM) in a diet is important for improving reproductive performance and fertility parameters.

Abstract Autonomic nerves are crucial in cardiac function and pathology. However, data on the distribution of cholinergic and noradrenergic nerves in normal and pathologic human hearts is lacking. Nonfailing donor hearts were pressure‐perfusion fixed, imaged, and dissected. Left ventricular cardiomyopathy samples were also obtained.
