Outcomes of adult patients with Li‐Fraumeni syndrome and myeloid neoplasms

Abstract Background Li‐Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is an inherited cancer predisposition syndrome. Hematologic malignancies are not considered LFS defining tumors, however, both acute lymphoblastic leukemia and therapy‐related myeloid neoplasms (MNs) in LFS are described. Treatment approaches and outcomes of MN in LFS need further evaluation.

DTI‐ALPS as a Biomarker of Small Vessel Disease Progression and Amyloid‐β in Normal Aging: A 3‐Year Longitudinal Study

A higher DTI‐derived ALPS index relates cross‐sectionally to both quantitative and visual measures of SVD and is associated with short‐term amyloid‐β accumulation in cognitively normal older adults. Also, greater amyloid burden and choroid plexus volume are associated with a more rapid deterioration in global cognition and processing speed.

Beyond the Fixed Charge: A New On‐Tissue Derivatisation Strategy Employing Photoionisable Chromophores for Mass Spectrometry Imaging of Amino‐Containing Metabolites

We introduce a novel chemical derivatisation strategy for the UV‐activated detection of elusive metabolites. Incorporation of a tocopherol‐active chromophore allows for the detection of tagged analytes as photoionised radical cations, selectively induced by a 266 nm laser.
