Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies in juvenile idiopathic arthritis
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 2010Prevalence and clinical significance of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodies in Indian patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).Anti-CCP antibodies were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 78 patients with JIA which included all 3 major subtypes of the disease: pauciarticular, polyarticular afld systemic ...

Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies with brucellosis
Rheumatology International, 2013Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) was positive in 11.5 % and rheumatoid factor was positive in 8.8 % of the patients with Brucella. After a comparative evaluation, we have found out that there was not a statistical significance concerning the anti-CCP levels between the patients with brucellosis and healthy control.

Diagnostic and prognostic usefulness of antibodies to citrullinated peptides
Joint Bone Spine, 2009The diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) must be made early, because prompt initiation of treatments tailored to disease activity is crucial to improve structural and functional outcomes. Anti-citrullinated peptide antibodies (ACPAs) are well-established diagnostic markers for RA and should be included in the classification criteria.

Antibodies to viral citrullinated peptide in rheumatoid arthritis.
The Journal of rheumatology, 2006To analyze the frequency of anti-viral citrullinated peptide (anti-VCP) antibodies in sera from patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-derived peptide in which arginine is replaced with citrulline.Anti-VCP antibodies were determined in 627 serum samples, 300 from patients with RA and 327 from controls, including ...

Anti‐citrullinated peptide antibody: death of the rheumatoid factor?
Medical Journal of Australia, 2009Early diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is necessary to prevent joint damage and long-term disability. High rates of false-negative and false-positive results of the rheumatoid factor (RF) test make it generally unhelpful in the early diagnosis of RA. A new clinical test for RA--the anti-citrullinated peptide antibody (ACPA) test--is

Antibodies to cyclic citrullinated peptides in psoriatic arthritis.
The Journal of rheumatology, 2005To determine the presence and clinical significance of antibodies to cyclic citrullinated peptides (anti-CCP) in psoriatic arthritis (PsA).We performed a cross-sectional study on 102 outpatients (56 men) with PsA consecutively recruited from a tertiary referral center. Median disease duration was 36 months (interquartile range 21-81). All patients were

[Antibodies to citrullinated peptides in rheumathoid arthritis].
Medicina clinica, 2007Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the synovial joints leading to progressive joint destruction. The serum of these patients contains a large repertoire of autoantibodies, mainly rheumatoid factor, which is part of the ACR classification criteria in spite of having only moderate specificity ...
