The distribution of main internal quality in pummelo (Citrus grandis) fruit [PDF]
This study is aim to explore the distribution of main internal quality among different parts of pummelo fruit. Four pommelo cultivars, ‘Sanhong Miyou’, ‘Hongrou Miyou’, ‘Huangjin Miyou’ and ‘Hongmian Miyou’ were used as materials. The total soluble solids (TSS), total sugar and titratable acid contents among different parts of the fruit were analyzed ...

Two spontaneous mutations in pupae of the West Indian fruit fly Anastrepha obliqua, named bp and sp, were isolated and studied. The bp mutation was selected, and using two types of Y‐autosoma l translocation inducers and an appropriate crossing scheme, two genetically sexed strains based on pupa l color were developed for the first time in this species,

Summary B‐box (BBX) proteins were initially characterized as transcription factors connecting light signaling to the regulation of flowering time and seedling photomorphogenesis. However, over the last decade, increasing evidence has shown that they integrate light and hormone signaling, modulating multiple physiological processes during plant life. In

Antagonistic actions of boron against inhibitory effects of aluminum toxicity on growth, CO2 assimilation, ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase, and photosynthetic electron transport probed by the JIP-test, of Citrus grandis seedlings [PDF]
Background Little information is available on the amelioration of boron (B) on aluminum (Al)-induced photosynthesis inhibition. Sour pummelo (Citrus grandis) seedlings were irrigated for 18 weeks with nutrient solution containing 4 B levels (2.5, 10, 25 ...

Chemical constituents from Citrus grandis Linn. and their biological activities
This research aimed to study the chemical constituents and their biological activity of the peels of Citrus grandis Linn. (Tubtim Siam Pomelo). The peels of C. grandis Linn. were immersed in acetone at room temperature. After evaporation, the acetone extract was purified with column chromatography (CC) to give a flavonoid (1).
