Carbon‐based materials from renewable sources: Challenges and perspectives with a focus on green coconut

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Technology &Biotechnology, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page 477-493, March 2026.
Abstract This article presents a comprehensive examination of agricultural production, biomass generation, and its transformation into biochar, with a particular emphasis on green coconut waste as a primary resource. It underscores the link between agriculture and substantial biomass output, shedding light on the ecological issues associated with solid

The Efficiency of Maize and Common Bean Intercropping Using Economic, Competitive, and Biological Indices for a Sustainable Production

open access: yesLegume Science, Volume 8, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Intercropping is an effective method for resource utilization that typically enhances crop yields compared with monoculture. This study was conducted using split plot in a randomized complete block design with three replications over the 2022–2023 years.

Effect of Diet Neutral Detergent Fibre Content on Dry Matter Intake, Nutrient Digestibility, Growth Efficiency and Carcass Characteristics of Finishing South African Mutton Merino Wether Lambs

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 2, March 2026.
Feeding South African Mutton Merino lambs low‐NDF lucerne hay diets improved nutrient digestibility, energy utilisation, growth efficiency, and carcass quality. Despite lower intake at the lowest NDF level, fibre digestibility and feed conversion improved, indicating that highly digestible, low‐NDF finishing diets enhance lamb growth and carcass traits.

Effects of a 6‐week dynamic mobilisation exercise program on thoracolumbosacral kinematics in sports horses

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, Volume 38, Issue 3, Page e142-e157, March 2026.
Summary Background Dynamic mobilisation exercises (DMEs) are prescribed to support locomotor function, but knowledge of their longitudinal effect on thoracolumbosacral (TLS) spinal kinematics is limited. Objectives To evaluate the effect of a 6‐week DME program on TLS kinematics during standing reflexes, walking and trotting.
