A simple RP‐HPLC method for quantification of columbianadin in rat plasma and its application to pharmacokinetic study

Biomedical Chromatography, 2009
AbstractA rapid and sensitive reversed‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatographic (RP‐HPLC) method was developed to investigate pharmacokinetics of columbianadin, one of the main bioactive constituents in the roots of Angelica pubescens f. biserrata, in rat plasma after intravenous administration to rats at two doses of 10 and 20 mg/kg.

S6K/FLNC/ITGβ3 signaling pathway regulates osteoclastogenesis and the inhibition of osteoclastogenesis by columbianadin

Phytomedicine
Over-activation of osteoclastogenesis is a significant factor contributing to bone loss, leading to increased resorption of bone. Columbianadin (CBN), a compound derived from Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, has traditionally been used in Chinese medicine to treat bone-related disorders.

Simultaneous determination of osthol, columbianadin, and isoimperatorin in Angelicae pubescentis Radix by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using a quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker (QAMS) calibration method

Instrumentation Science & Technology, 2020
The goal of this work was to establish a method to identify and quantify the primary active components in Angelicae pubescentis Radix quickly, simply, and accurately.

Columbianadin Ameliorate Osteoporosis Against Glucocorticoid Induced Osteoporosis in Rats via Alteration of RANK/RANKL/OPG Signaling Pathway

Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology
ABSTRACTBackgroundOsteoporosis is a condition in where bones gradually become thin and weak, making them more susceptible to fractures. Columbianadin has showed potential anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant effect. In this experimental study, anti‐osteoporosis effect of Columbianadin against glucocorticoid induced osteoporosis in rats.MethodsIn this ...

Columbianadin Ameliorates Myocardial Injury by Inhibiting Autophagy Through the PI3K/Akt/mTOR Signaling Pathway in AMI Mice and Hypoxic H9c2 Cells

Phytotherapy Research
ABSTRACTAcute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a leading cause of mortality among cardiovascular diseases, yet effective therapies for AMI are limited. Previous studies have suggested cardioprotective effects of columbianadin (CBN), but its specific role in AMI and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.

Anti-inflammatory, anti-colitis, and antioxidant effects of columbianadin against DSS-induced ulcerative colitis in rats via alteration of HO-1/Nrf2 and TLR4-NF-κB signaling pathway

Inflammopharmacology
Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a significant inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that typically arises from chronic inflammation of the intestinal tract. Report suggest that anti-inflammatory drug plays a crucial role in the protection of UC. The recent study demonstrated that columbianadin has a protective effect against UC induced by dextran sulfate sodium (
