On the Possibility of Medium-Energy Compact X-ray Free-Electron Laser
The problem of X-ray Free-Electron Laser operating on self-amplified spontaneous emission in irregular microundulator is considered. The case when the spectrum width of spontaneous radiation is conditioned by the spatial distribution of sources creating ...

It has been suggested that second-order nonlinearities could be used for quantum logic at the single-photon level. Specifically, successive two-photon processes in principle could accomplish the phase shift (conditioned on the presence of two photons in ...

L929 CONDITIONED MEDIUM (LCM) v1
Macrophage colony stimulating factors (M-CSF) are secreted by L929 cells (ATCC) and promote bone marrow progenitors to differentiate into a heterogeneous population of bone marrow derived macrophages (BMDM) expressing various myeloid surface markers (CD11b, F4/80, BM8, CD31, CD68, CD11c, Ly6C, GR1 ...

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Background: Human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs) are population of cells isolated from adipose tissue. hADSCs have ability to differentiate along multiple cell lineages and secret verity of growth factors, which affect the neighboring cells ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Gain Modulation by Corticostriatal and Thalamostriatal Input Signals during Reward-Conditioned Behavior. [PDF]
The cortex and thalamus send excitatory projections to the striatum, but little is known about how these inputs, either individually or collectively, regulate striatal dynamics during behavior.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
