Lymphomyelopoietic activity of submandibular gland-conditioned medium

Immunology Letters, 1980
Abstract Submandibular gland-conditioned medium (SMG-CM) possesses a number of lymphomyelopoietic regulatory features when examined for colony-forming units-culture (CFU-C), macrophage colony-forming cell(s) (M-CFC), and lymphoid mitogenic responses.

Pressurizing conditions in helium-pressure-transmitting medium

High Pressure Research, 2007
We present quantitative measurements of the macroscopic non-hydrostatic stress and of the microscopic stress in samples compressed in a diamond anvil cell, using helium as a pressure-transmitting medium. These are based on the analysis of X-ray diffraction line shifts and widths.

Schwann cell-conditioned medium inhibits angiogenesis.

Cancer research, 2000
Neuroblastomas are biologically heterogeneous tumors that consist of two main cell populations: neuroblastic/ganglionic cells and Schwann cells. The amount of Schwannian stroma strongly impacts prognosis, and favorable outcome is associated with tumors that are Schwannian stroma rich/stroma dominant.

Problems With Medium-Sized Joints: Ankle Conditions.

FP essentials, 2023
The ankle is the cause of many musculoskeletal injuries. Knowledge of ankle anatomy and physiology can provide an initial framework to help clinicians formulate a differential diagnosis. A thorough history should be obtained, with a focus on mechanism of injury and symptom duration to hone the differential diagnosis and physical examination.

Dance in Its Post-medium Condition

2017
Coming back to the piece Gala, the conclusion points out some of the defining features of Jerome Bel’s contemporaneity. Gala is a concept without a choreographer or a fixed cast. It serves as tool to enable people to dance without the interference of the choreographer Jerome Bel.

Arnheim After the Post-medium Condition

2018
Arnheim’s media theory is introduced amidst the uncertain context of the contemporary post-medium condition. After decades of suspicion of both medium and media systems, some robust theory of medium is needed. Nevertheless, those process-based accounts of medium introduced recently with the turn to “materialism” and “ontology,” and, influenced by ...

Macrophage-conditioned medium inhibits adipocyte differentiation

2013
Obesity is accompanied by a reduced adipogenic capacity that promotes a dipocyte hypertrophy, low-grade inflammation, and insulin resistance. Macrophages infiltrate adipose tissue and may contribute to the low-grade inflammation associated with obesity and insulin resistance, suggesting that they could also play an anti-adipogenic role.

Problems With Medium-Sized Joints: Neck Conditions.

FP essentials, 2023
The incidence of neck pain in US primary care settings ranges from 10% to 21% per year. A key component in evaluation of patients with neck pain is identification of red flag signs or symptoms that indicate the need for urgent evaluation for possible serious conditions. These include fever, unexplained weight loss, trauma, vision changes, new or severe

CONDITIONED MEDIUMS IN REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

Біотехнологія XXI століття
Conditioned medium (CM), a bioactive cell culture supernatant, has emerged as a promising cell-free therapeutic strategy in regenerative medicine. This review examines CM’s complex composition, production methods, mechanisms of action, and applications in tissue repair and immunomodulation, particularly from MSCs. It also addresses delivery strategies,
