KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Constitutive modeling of inelastic anisotropic material response [PDF]
A constitutive equation was developed to predict the inelastic thermomechanical response of single crystal turbine blades. These equations are essential for developing accurate finite element models of hot section components and contribute significantly ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

On a differential constraint in the continuum theory of growing solids
The present paper is devoted to the problem of boundary conditions formulation for asymmetric problems in the mechanics of growing solids (MGS). The boundary conditions on the propagating growing surface (PGS) is the fundamental problem of this branch ...

Heat-Flux Relaxation and the Possibility of Spatial Interactions in Higher-Grade Materials
We investigate the thermodynamic compatibility of weakly nonlocal materials with constitutive equations depending on the third spatial gradient of the deformation and the heat flux ruled by an independent balance law.

The inhibition of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) impairs syncytialization and induces cellular senescence via mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum stress in human trophoblast stem cells, elevating sFlt1/PlGF levels, a hallmark of placental dysfunction in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
