Passion to practice: Early career teachers’ motivation, content confidence, and coping strategies in teaching

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Journal of Education Research
This study examines how early career teachers (ECTs) in South African schools perceive their readiness to teach, focusing on intrinsic motivation, perceived gaps in content knowledge, coping strategies, and the development of emerging confidence ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Assessing Teachers’ Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge

open access: yes, 2017
TPACK, originally conceived by Mishra and Koehler (2006), was developed as a framework to better understand the knowledge and competencies required for teachers to effectively integrate technology in the classroom (Koehler & Mishra, 2009; Koh, Chai ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

De uitdaging van grootschalige stelsel voor ketencommunicatie : over de betekenis van het vakgebied 'Keteninformatisering in de rechtstaat'

open access: yes, 2011

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

PERSPECTIVES OF EFL TEACHERS ON CONTENT KNOWLEDGE, TECHNOLOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE, AND PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE

open access: yesEuropean Journal of English Language Teaching
A qualitative study was conducted in a Vietnamese city to investigate the EFL teachers’ perspectives on CK, TCK, and PCK. Qualitative data revealed that integrating Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) into English teaching practices is considered time-consuming, impeded by factors such as time constraints and students' cognitive ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
