The composition of corotating energetic particle streams [PDF]
The relative abundances of 1.5 to 23 MeV/nucleon ions in corotating nucleon streams were compared with ion abundances in particle events associated with solar flares and with solar and solar wind abundances.

AE index variability during corotating fast solar wind streams [PDF]
[ 1] We examine the AE index variability while 12 corotating fast solar wind streams pass the Earth during the ascending phase of the ongoing solar activity cycle. We apply the Discrete Fourier Transform analysis to the associated interplanetary magnetic

Corotating solar wind streams and recurrent geomagnetic activity: A review
Solar wind fast streams emanating from solar coronal holes cause recurrent, moderate intensity geomagnetic activity at Earth. Intense magnetic field regions called Corotating Interaction Regions or CIRs are created by the interaction of fast streams with upstream slow streams.

Magnetic Storms Caused by Corotating Solar Wind Streams
Geophysical Monograph Series, 2006Geomagnetic activity at Earth due to corotating high speed solar wind streams are reviewed. High density plasma regions in the vicinity of the heliospheric current sheet in the slow solar wind impinge upon the magnetosphere and create magnetic storm intial phases.

Evolution of corotating stream structures in the heliospheric equatorial plane
Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, 1993This paper develops a numerical method and applies it to the study of corotating high‐speed streams in the equatorial plane of the heliosphere from 0.3 AU up to 10 AU, where corotating shocks undergo processes of formation, development and interaction.

Corotating pressure waves without fast streams in the solar wind
Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, 1983Voyager 1 and 2 magnetic field and plasma data are presented which demonstrate the existence of large scale, corotating, nonlinear pressure waves between 2 AU and 4 AU that are not accompanied by fast streams. The pressure waves are presumed to be generated by the interaction between fast corotating streams and slower flows near the sun. For two of the
