Lemaître Class Dark Energy Model for Relaxing Cosmological Constant

open access: yesUniverse, 2017
Cosmological constant corresponds to the maximally symmetric cosmological term with the equation of state p = − ρ . Introducing a cosmological term with the reduced symmetry, p r = − ρ in the spherically symmetric case, makes ...

The cosmology of fluctuations [PDF]

open access: yesChaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2003
We review a cosmology in which particles are fluctuationally created from a background Zero Point Field. This cosmology is consistent with recent observations of an ever expanding and accelerating universe, as also the recently confirmed evolution of the fine structure constant.

Dark matter from torsion in Friedmann cosmology

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
A cosmological model in an Einstein–Cartan framework endowed with torsion is studied. For a torsion function assumed to be proportional to Hubble expansion function, namely $$\phi =-\alpha H$$ ϕ = - α H , the contribution of torsion function as a dark ...

Photonic‐Enabled Energy‐Efficient Transparent Neuromorphic Computing Devices: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Transparent photonic neuromorphic computing devices merge optics and brain‐inspired computing to overcome von Neumann bottlenecks with ultrafast, low‐energy processing. By exploiting transparent oxides, 2D materials, phase‐change materials, and hybrid heterostructures, these platforms enable photonic synapses, memory, and logic for see‐through edge ...

Local Solvent Ordering Drives Supramolecular Chirality Inversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Local solvent organization is shown to govern supramolecular chirality by selecting distinct chiral assembly pathways. A subtle change in water‐DMSO composition reverses the helical sense of a chiral perylene bisimide, while heating induces an irreversible thermal inversion to a more stable enantiomorph.

Vacuum energy with mass generation and Higgs bosons

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
We discuss the Higgs mass and cosmological constant hierarchy puzzles with emphasis on the interplay of Poincaré invariance, mass generation and renormalization group invariance.

Exploring bouncing cosmologies with cosmological surveys [PDF]

open access: yesScience China Physics, Mechanics & Astronomy, 2014
In light of the recent observational data coming from the sky we have two significant directions in the field of theoretical cosmology recently. First, we are now able to make use of present observations, such as the Planck and BICEP2 data, to examine theoretical predictions from the standard inflationary $Λ$CDM which were made decades of years ago ...

‘Turkeys Cannot Vote for Christmas’: Why Epistemic Disobedience in an Anti‐Black World Matters

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Never in the history of global coloniality has the idea of epistemic disobedience been as important as in the 21st century. This is not only because the struggle for decolonisation has shifted from physical confrontation between the coloniser and the colonised into a battle of ideas but also because the former has deployed the idea of ...
