Abstract Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) relies upon a broad array of host factors in order to replicate and evade the host antiviral response1. Cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 6 (CPSF6) is one such host factor that is recruited by incoming HIV-1 cores to regulate trafficking2, nuclear import3-5, uncoating6, and integration ...

Decoding the biogenesis of HIV-induced CPSF6 puncta and their fusion with the nuclear speckle
Summary Viruses rely on host cellular machinery for replication. After entering the nucleus, the HIV genome accumulates in nuclear niches where it undergoes reverse transcription and integrates into neighboring chromatin, promoting high transcription rates and new virus progeny.

SNW1 promotes lymphatic metastasis in bladder cancer by modulating SRPK1 splicing
Summary: The overall survival of patients with metastatic bladder cancer (BCa) remains poor. There is a lack of effective therapies and reliable biomarkers for metastatic BCa. BCa cells initially disseminate via the pelvic lymph nodes (LN).

Transcriptome-wide alternative polyadenylation (APA) is involved in both innate and adaptive immune responses of immune cells. Downregulation of the CPSF6 protein, one of the 3' end-processing factors, mediates APA in macrophages with responses to virus infection and plays an important role in its anti-virus effect.

Summary: One of the striking features of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is the capsid, a fullerene cone comprised of pleomorphic capsid protein (CA) that shields the viral genome and recruits cofactors.

Retraction note to: RNA-binding protein CPSF6 regulates IBSP to affect pyroptosis in gastric cancer
The authors have decided to retract the article published on World J Gastrointest Oncol (2023) for further consideration due to data errors and some misunderstandings in communication.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common cancers, and its progression is regulated by several factors, including circular RNA (circRNA).The objective of this study was to determine the role, or roles, of circ_0000673 in CRC.We used quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) to detect the expression of circ_0000673, miR-548b-3p and
