Nanoindentation study on the creep characteristics of high-entropy alloy films: fcc versus bcc structures

open access: yes, 2016
Using the magnetron sputtering technique, two typical high-entropy alloy (HEA) films namely CoCrFeNiCu (Al-0) with a face-centered cubic (fcc) structure and CoCrFeNiCuAl2.5 (Al-2.5) with a body-centered cubic (bcc) structure were prepared by alloy ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Creep model of roadway surrounding rock considering hardening effect and damage effect.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
The influence of confining pressure on creep characteristics was analyzed by carrying out creep tests of rocks under different confining pressures. A new creep model of roadway surrounding rock considering the combined influence of hardening effect and ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Experimental investigation of the mechanical properties of mud shale under water-bearing conditions and its applications

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Mud shale, used in drilling engineering, is prone to hydration and expansion, resulting in creep deformation that leads to wellbore shrinkage and pipe sticking incidents.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Insights of the asynchronous strain evolution of lean coal in uniaxial compression creep

open access: yesScientific Reports
Owing to the heterogeneity, discontinuity and complex material structure, typical coal exhibits intricate deformation characteristics during long-term creep processes.
