Low-Power Design Methodology of Voltage Over-Scalable Circuit with Critical Path Isolation and Bit-Width Scaling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
This work proposes a design methodology that saves the power dissipation under voltage over-scaling (VOS) operation. The key idea of the proposed design methodology is to combine critical path isolation (CPI) and bit-width scaling (BWS) under the ...

Parallelizing the Critical Path

open access: yes, 2016
For many parallel matrix computations the execution time is determinedby the length of the critical path. The baseline approach used to reduce the execution time is to adjust the task granularity. If the tasks are made smaller, the length of the critical path will decrease and by extension reduce the execution time for the computation.

Quantitative system pharmacology as a legitimate approach to examine extrapolation strategies used to support pediatric drug development

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, 2022
Extrapolation strategies from adult data for designing pediatric drug development programs are explored using the quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modeling approach, a mechanistic drug and disease modeling framework that can predict clinical ...

On bounding the delay of a critical path [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2006 IEEE/ACM international conference on Computer-aided design - ICCAD '06, 2006
Process variations cause different behavior of timing-dependent effects across different chips. In this work, we analyze one example of timing-dependent effects, cross-coupling capacitance, and the complex problem space created by considering coupling and process variations together.

Literature review to characterize the empirical basis for response scale selection in pediatric populations

open access: yesJournal of Patient-Reported Outcomes, 2018
Background Despite the importance of response option selection for patient-reported outcome measures, there seems to be little empirical evidence for the selected scale type.
