ABSTRACT Stomach cancer (SC) or gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common gastrointestinal malignancies. Currently, some studies based on competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNA) network analysis have been assessed for this cancer. The construction and analysis of ceRNA network is a novel approach for identification of RNA‐based biomarkers in cancer ...

Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR) is transforming Huntington's disease research through allele‐selective huntingtin (HTT) targeting, transcriptional and RNA suppression, and advanced disease modelling. Progress towards precision therapy depends on safe central nervous system (CNS) delivery, reduced off‐target and immune ...

Hot and crispy : CRISPR-Cas systems in the hyperthermophile Sulfolobus solfataricus [PDF]
The CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) and Cas (CRISPR-associated) genes are widely spread in bacteria and archaea, representing an intracellular defence system against invading viruses and plasmids.

Plag1 Regulates Sensorimotor Modulation in Zebrafish
PLAG1 regulates early neurobehavioural development in zebrafish. Reducing plag1 alters craniofacial patterning, increases thigmotaxis and changes responses to light and acoustic stimuli, while gross brain structure and motor neuron development remain largely intact.

This graphical abstract illustrates a rapid diagnostic platform for Mycoplasma bovis detection using Recombinase Polymerase Amplification coupled with CRISPR–Cas12a targeting the uvrC gene. The assay operates at 37°C–39°C, delivers results within 1 h, and demonstrates complete concordance with PCR in cattle and bison clinical samples.

High-accuracy crRNA array assembly strategy for multiplex CRISPR
Simultaneous targeting of multiple loci with the CRISPR system, a tool known as multiplex CRISPR, offers greater feasibility for manipulating and elucidating the intricate and redundant endogenous networks underlying complex cellular functions. Owing to the versatility of continuously emerging Cas nucleases and the use of CRISPR arrays, multiplex ...
