Magnetic Resonance Reveals Radical Stability in Native Biofilms and Its Role in Bacterial Resistance
The complex biofilm environment consists of planktonic bacterial cells and cells embedded in an extracellular matrix (ECM). Through an integrated magnetic resonance approach, we show that nitroxide radicals primarily interact with the polysaccharides and lipids in the ECM.

Time‐resolved in situ x‐ray absorption spectroscopy and DFTB‐based molecular dynamics simulations identify direct hydrogen atom transfer from ethanol to lattice oxygen as the elementary step of laser‐driven reduction in NiCo2O4. While this transfer is facile, the subsequent release of lattice oxygen is entropy‐driven and becomes accessible only at ...

PQB‐4, a fluorescent small‐molecule ligand that targets c‐MYC DNA G‐quadruplexes (G4s), showed marked synergy with gemcitabine in resistant PANC‐1 cells (CI = 0.027). In vivo, the ligand reduced tumor weight by 44% in a PANC‐1 xenograft model. These results highlight the therapeutic potential of c‐MYC DNA G4‐targeting ligands for treating gemcitabine ...
