LABORATORY EQUIPMENT DURING PHARMACEUTICAL DEVELOPMENT OF SEMI-SOLID PREPARATIONS

open access: yesРазработка и регистрация лекарственных средств, 2019
Introduction. When developing drugs it is necessary to use laboratory equipment that simulates pilot and industrial equipment. For the production of semi-solid preparations the key equipment are rotor-stator dispersers and vacuum reactors-homogenizers ...

Quartz crystal microbalances to measure wind velocity and air humidity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
Instrument includes four temperature-sensing, Y-cut quartz crystals to determine wind direction, velocity, and temperature. Two additional AT-cut crystals are used to determine air humidity.

Orthorhombically Mixed s and d$_{x^2-y^2}$ Wave Superconductivity and Josephson Tunneling

open access: yes, 1995
The effect of orthorhombicity on Josephson tunneling in high T$_c$ superconductors such as YBCO is studied for both single crystals and highly twinned crystals. It is shown that experiments on highly twinned crystals experimentally determine the symmetry

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Thermostable interference oxide coatings for active elements of IR lasers

open access: yesТехнологія та конструювання в електронній апаратурі, 2010
Strong thermostable oxide interference coatings transparent in the visible and IR spectral regions are obtained on the surface of active elements of ZnSe:Cr2+-lasers by the method of photothermal oxidation.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
