The regulation of cyclic GMP during anaesthesia
The glutamate-NO-cyclic GMP pathway has previously been identified as a potential major target for general anaesthetic agents. An animal model of type I NOS gene disrupted mice was employed to investigate in vivo effects of the general anaesthetic agents

Epidermal Cyclic GMP is Increased in Psoriasis Lesions
Cyclic GMP levels in epidermis of normal subjects and of psoriatic patients were measured with a highly sensitive radioimmunoassay method. Technical improvements for the assay are 2-fold: (1) skin samples were frozen in vivo before biopsy and local ...

What Makes an “Ideal” Cell Line for Recombinant Adeno‐Associated Virus Production?
Several host cell types have been used to produce rAAVs to date. Cell line‐specific traits that are beneficial in the context of rAAV manufacturing are reviewed here, with the goal of developing a consensus on the ‘ideal’ characteristics that an rAAV production host should possess (created with Biorender.com).

The global regulation of c‐di‐GMP and cAMP in bacteria
Nucleotide second messengers are highly versatile signaling molecules that regulate a variety of key biological processes in bacteria. The best‐studied examples are cyclic AMP (cAMP) and bis‐(3′–5′)‐cyclic dimeric guanosine monophosphate (c‐di‐GMP ...

The structral aspects of cyclic GMP and cyclic di-GMP-dependent bacterial signaling pathways

The Coupling of Cyclic GMP and Photopolarization ofPelvetiaZygotes
Unidirectional blue light directs the rhizoid–thallus axis in the apolar zygotes ofFucusandPelvetia. Here, it is shown that blue light (but not red light) increased cyclic GMP levels ofPelvetiazygotes by about a factor of 2.

Mitochondria‐endoplasmic reticulum contact sites (MERCS) are areas where the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum closely interact. In this study, we utilize synthetic organelle glues to artificially engineer MERCS for regulating cardiomyocyte development, through which the immature and chemo‐plasticity issues of undifferentiated cells are addressed.
