Bioorganotin chemistry: Reactions of tributyltin derivatives with a cytochrome P-450 dependent monooxygenase enzyme system

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1976
Abstract The biological oxidation of several tributyltin derivatives, by a cytochrome P-450 dependent monooxygenase enzyme system with reduced nicotinamideadeninedinucleotidephosphate as the essential cofactor, produced carbon-hydroxylated compounds identified as α-, β-, γ- and δ-hydroxybutyldibutyltin derivatives.

Clinical implications of drug interactions with the cytochrome P-450 enzyme system associated with omeprazole

Digestive Diseases and Sciences, 1991
Interactions with the hepatic cytochrome P-450 microsomal enzyme system, as evidenced by statistically significant changes in pharmacokinetic parameters, have been described with some H2-receptor antagonists. Omeprazole is the first of a new class of antisecretory agents inhibiting gastric secretion by blocking hydrogen potassium ATPase.
