ABSTRACT Cultivated meat production requires efficient differentiation of muscle progenitor cells into myotubes without relying on animal‐derived serum, which poses ethical and scalability challenges. This study aimed to develop a chemically defined, serum‐free medium optimized for bovine satellite cell differentiation.

A Modular Nucleoside Kinase Cascade for the Synthesis of Ribonucleoside Triphosphates
Damm et al. report standardized enzymatic cascades for production of all canonical nucleoside triphosphates from the corresponding nucleosides, using kinase‐catalyzed phosphorylation from acetyl phosphate. Reactions afforded ∼ 100 mM product in near‐quantitative conversion.

Epigenetic mechanismsincluding DNA methylation, histone modifications, and microRNA (miRNA) regulationmodulate gene expression without altering the DNA sequence and are increasingly implicated in the cognitive impairment associated with Parkinson's disease (PD). Environmental and molecular factors influence these epigenetic pathways, leading to altered

ABSTRACT Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) have emerged as physiologically relevant cancer models that preserve key genetic, histological, and functional features of the tumors from which they are derived. In parallel, CRISPR‐based perturbation technologies have transformed functional genomics by enabling scalable interrogation of gene function.

Clonal Hematopoiesis in Colorectal Cancer: Mechanisms and Implications
ABSTRACT Clonal hematopoiesis (CH) arises from the expansion of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells bearing somatic mutations, often in genes linked to epigenetic regulation and inflammation. Once considered a benign age‐related phenomenon, CH has gained increasing attention for its potential to influence cancer biology beyond hematologic ...
