A mouse variable gene fragment binds to DNA independently of the BCR context: a possible role for immature B-cell repertoire establishment. [PDF]
B-cell maturation occurs in several steps and requires constant stimulus for its continuing development. From the emergence of the pre-B-cell receptor, signal transduction stimulates and supports B-cell development.

Thermodynamic database for protein-nucleic acid interactions
Protein-nucleic acid interaction plays an essential role in the regulation of gene expression. Structural and binding information provides insight into the mechanism of protein-nucleic acid recognition. Although there are structural databases for protein-nucleic acid complexes, there exists no database for protein-nucleic acid binding.

Usability of BioCon2 for nucleic acid structures in database [PDF]
With the specific three-dimensional structure, DNA/RNA molecules express the specific structural and catalytic functions. The knowledge integration based on three dimensional structures can be used to explain biochemical observations, to predict biological functions and to design drugs specific to a given complex system.

Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Harnessing Phase Separation for the Development of High‐Performance Hydrogels
ABSTRACT Hydrogels are indispensable for the development of next‐generation bioelectronics, soft robotics, and biomedical devices, where their mechanical properties determine performance and reliability. Among strategies to enhance hydrogel mechanics, phase separation enables controlled heterogeneity resulting in gel networks that are reinforced by ...
