Colonic MUC2 mucin regulates the expression and antimicrobial activity of β-defensin 2
In this study we identified mechanisms at the colonic mucosa by which MUC2 mucin regulated the production of β-defensin in a proinflammatory milieu but functionally protected susceptible bacteria from its antimicrobial effects. The regulator role of MUC2

Three molecular profiles identified among Art v 1/Amb a 4‐sensitized patients: Art v 1 monosensitization, Amb a 4 monosensitization, and dual sensitization to both allergens. Art v 1 monosensitization was predominantly associated with allergic rhinitis, reflecting a classical airborne allergy pattern.

Human β-Defensin-1 Is a Salt-Sensitive Antibiotic in Lung That Is Inactivated in Cystic Fibrosis
A human bronchial xenograft model was used to characterize the molecular basis for the previously described defect in bacterial killing that is present in the cystic fibrosis (CF) lung.

The Airway Transcriptome in Type 2 Cytokine Biomarker‐High and ‐Low Severe Asthma
This study distinguishes severe asthma–related airway transcriptomic changes from the effects of high‐dose ICS. Most dysregulated genes in severe asthma show concordance with corticosteroid responses. Corticosteroid‐resistant T2‐high asthma featured T2‐high and epithelial barrier gene upregulation, while T2‐low asthma featured Th1/IL‐17 signatures. ASM,

Serum‐Proteomic Profiling Reveals Distinct Atopic Dermatitis Severity‐Linked Signatures
This study aimed to identify a set of serum biomarkers that robustly distinguish prespecified severe from mild atopic dermatitis groups. Serum proteomic profiling distinguishes severe from mild atopic dermatitis, revealing an epithelial enriched severity footprint linked to LDH‐associated tissue injury and Th2/Th22 inflammation.

ABSTRACT Testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT) are the leading malignancy in adolescent and young adult males, yet the immunological and cellular mechanisms governing their tumor microenvironment (TME) remain poorly understood. Here, we present a comprehensive review of TGCT pathobiology with a focus on the immune landscape, particularly the role of tumor‐
