Veterinary Record, 2019 IN the distant past when I graduated and hence was accepted as MRCVS, I immediately went into practice. This was quite legal and appropriate. I later moved out of conventional practice but I continued doing jobs for which MRCVS was obligatory; and I was employed to be consulted on veterinary issues.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
