Coherent exciton transport in dendrimers and continuous-time quantum walks [PDF]
We model coherent exciton transport in dendrimers by continuous-time quantum walks (CTQWs). For dendrimers up to the second generation the coherent transport shows perfect recurrences, when the initial excitation starts at the central node.

A hydrogel with dynamic cross‐links was formed by cross‐linking hyaluronic acid with curcumin‐preloaded, phenylboronic acid‐modified poly(amidoamine) dendrimers. This hydrogel exhibited excellent injectability and self‐healing ability, enabling controlled Cur release in response to low pH, high reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, or mechanical ...

Nanotechnology as a New Therapeutic Approach to Prevent the HIV-Infection of Treg Cells. [PDF]
BACKGROUND:HIV-1 has proved to infect regulatory T cells (Treg) modifying their phenotype and impairing their suppressive capacity. As Treg cells are a crucial component in the preservation of the immune homeostasis, we researched that the antiviral ...

Antinematic local order in dendrimer liquids
We use monomer-resolved numerical simulations to study the positional and orientational structure of a dense dendrimer solution, focusing on the effects of dendrimers' prolate shape and deformability on the short-range order.

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Biological properties of water-soluble phosphorhydrazone dendrimers
Dendrimers are hyperbranched and perfectly defined macromolecules, constituted of branches emanating from a central core in an iterative fashion. Phosphorhydrazone dendrimers constitute a special family of dendrimers, possessing one phosphorus atom at ...

Forgotten coindex of some non-toxic dendrimers structure used in targeted drug delivery
In recent past, porphyrin-based dendrimers have gained great attraction due to their usefulness in nano devices and photo-dynamic therapy. New technologies based upon nano-materials or dendrimers have potential to overcome the problems due to ...

Hyperbranched polymer stars with Gaussian chain statistics revisited
Conformational properties of regular dendrimers and more general hyperbranched polymer stars with Gaussian statistics for the spacer chains between branching points are revisited numerically.

Aptamer‐Based Delivery Systems for VEGF and NGF Modulation in Ocular Therapies
Aptamer‐based delivery systems targeting NGF and VEGF hold significant potential for precise and sustained treatment of complex diseases affecting both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. This review critically summarizes current strategies for NGF and VEGF delivery as well as VEGF sequestration, providing a clinical perspective on how ...
