Modeling Reverse-Phi Motion-Selective Neurons in Cortex: Double Synaptic-Veto Mechanism [PDF]
Reverse-phi motion is the illusory reversal of perceived direction of movement when the stimulus contrast is reversed in successive frames. Livingstone, Tsao, and Conway (2000) showed that direction-selective cells in striate cortex of the alert macaque ...

Suppression of Choroidal Neovascularization by Dendritic Cell Vaccination Targeting VEGFR2
To investigate whether the induction of cellular immunity against vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) 2 inhibits the development of choroidal neovascularization (CNV).H-2Db-restricted peptide corresponding to amino acids 400 to 408 of VEGFR2 was used as an epitope peptide.

We fabricated a biomimetic dendrimer‐modified thin‐film nanocomposite membrane with a coordination‐assisted ion‐selective interface. pH‐responsive polypeptide sites preferentially bind Mg2+ and promote Li+ permeation, as predicted by density functional theory calculations of metal‐ligand interactions.

Leishmania Regulated MTDH Expression to Suppress Dendritic Cells.
This study aimed to investigate the correlation between Leishmania infection and dendritic cell infiltration and explore the underlying molecular mechanism how Leishmania infection regulates dendritic cell infiltration. Three datasets, GSE63931, GSE80008 and GSE77528 were combined and their batch effects were removed by Combat function in sva R package.
