Structure studies of a phospholipid monolayer coupled to dextran sulfate
The negatively charged polymer dextran sulfate can couple to a non-charged phospholipid monolayer of 1,2-dipalmitoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine (DPPE) at the air–water interface via ionic bridges of calcium.

A sulfated polysaccharide (SCP) from Cyclocarya paliurus alleviates ulcerative colitis by reshaping the gut microbiome. This remodeled microbiota orchestrates the upregulation of the host‐derived lipid 12‐HEPE, which directly inhibits the TLR4/NF‐κB pathway to suppress inflammation.

Purification of Total RNA from DSS-treated Murine Tissue via Lithium Chloride Precipitation
We have developed a protocol to purify RNA from DSS (Dextran Sulfate Sodium)-treated mouse tissues. This method, which prevents downstream inhibition of q-RT-PCR observed in DSS-treated tissues, relies on successive precipitations with lithium chloride.

Dextran Sulfate as an Inhibitor against the Human Immunodeficiency Virus
Dextran sulfate (DS) is a potent inhibitor of the growth of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) in the H9 cell. Its minimal inhibitory concentration is about 1 μg/ml.

Ciclopirox Olamine Inhibits the NLRP3 Inflammasome to Alleviate Inflammatory Diseases
There is no drug targeting the NLRP3 inflammasome that has been approved for use in clinical settings. Ciclopirox olamine (CPX), an antifungal agent approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is identified as a specific and potent NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor. CPX targets the NACHT domain of NLRP3 at Y381 to impair NLRP3 oligomerization and

SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.
